December 1, 2020!!!

Happy December!

Today we read high frequency words for lesson 9 and used them in sentences, went to Music Class, discussed "A Birthday Basket for Tia" and drew pictures of things Cecilia put in Tia's basket, reviewed adding three numbers, reviewed the number 26, watched and discussed Brother Francis's  Advent show, and wrote a list of who they were going to pray for each day throughout Advent.

Today's HW:

Spelling-write sentences for words 1-5

Phonics-word list U2-L9 read lines 7-10

Reading- bring in (if it it too delicate they can take or draw a picture of the item) special item that reminds them of a special person (In the story the girl Cecilia picks items that she and her Tia use together, like a mixing bowl they made cookies in or a tea cup that Tia gave her tea in when Cecilia was sick.) Send the item or picture tomorrow.
