Today was a wonderful day!

We read the word list and marked short vowels green and long vowels orange, read the book The Snowy Nap and predicted(using foreshadowing) what would happen at the end , worked on writing the beginning of their personal narrative (talk to your child-ask what they are writing about and talk about what would be a good title for their personal narrative), practiced writing the letter e, surveyed 10 friends to see which story they liked better the Mitten or The Hat, used subtraction to find a missing addend, discussed how the church serves its members, and read about polar bears.

Spelling-write words 3 times

Math-wkbk page 42

Phonics- read word list U3-L12 lines 1-6
