Hello Everyone,

Happy National Popcorn Day!!

We had a nice treat of popcorn to enjoy while watching Super Why.

Today we wrote sentences with -ng and-nk words, went to Music Class, read the book The Mitten by Jan Brett and predicted (foreshadowing) what each animal might do when they saw the mitten, worked on ideas for the middle part of their personal narrative, identified related addition and subtraction facts, talked about the Holy Spirit and the beginning of the church (people are the church, not a building), and read about Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today's HW is:

Spelling-words 3 times (there will not be sentences this week)

Math-wkbk p. 39 only

Reading-read word list U2-L11 again to practice words with -ng and -nk
