Hope you had a good day.

We did here in 1st Grade!

Today we wrote words using the -ng and -nk spellings, worked on ideas for a personal narrative, went to Gym class, read The Mitten again and wrote a shared writing summary, used addition to check subtraction facts, wrote numbers in expanded form (34=30 + 4), learned about the first members of the church, read about and watched a view the new president and vice-president and the white house in a scholastic news article, and learned more about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today's HW is:

Spelling-words 3 times again

Reading-read Lesson 9 High Frequency Words
