Hello Everyone,

It was a busy day in 1st Grade today!

We wrote words and sentences with the short u sound, went to computer class, read the Day the Goose Got Loose, worked on addition number sentences horizontally and vertically, discussed Zacchaeus and how we trust in God's love for us, and talked about when to use capital letters. (beginning of a sentence, people's names, months, and days of the week)

Thank you for your help with the toys at lunchtime. It seemed much safer!!

Today's homework is:

    Spelling-study for test tomorrow

    Phonics-read lines 7-10 on word list U1-L4
