Hello Everyone,

Today was a busy day in First Grade!

We wrote sentences using l-blend words, reread "The Magic Rabbit", discussed friendship, drew pictures of and wrote sentences about Bunny and Ray doing things together, filled in addition charts and tried to see a pattern in the sums (answers), discussed how we can be followers of Jesus and what we could do, and read the book "Duck for President." (They wanted to know if it was really a hard job to be in charge of a farm, be a governor, and be the president. They all thought duck would be a good president and cheer when he won.)

Spelling-study for test tomorrow

Math-wkbk p. 20

Show and Tell Tomorrow

***Students can wear festive clothes tomorrow. It would be fun if they have anything that is Halloween or orange, black, or purple.

***Please send in a bag for trunk or treating.
