 March 5, 2021

Hello Everyone,

Today was wonderful day.

We read another Dr. Seuss book  and talked about long vowel sounds vs short vowel sounds.

Short vowel sounds can be heard in apple, egg, iguana, octopus, or umbrella.

Long vowel sounds can be heard in ape, ear, ice, ocean, or unicorn.

Please check that your child has a clean mask in their backpack and ask them if they have one in their box here at school.

I am going to stop posting here on Blogger. From today on  I will put all messages on Google Classroom.

Here are the Spelling words for the week of March 8th:

Next week will be our school Book Fair.

Your child have the opportunity to choose books to buy. (This a great way to support our school library.) You can pay with ewallet, check, or cash. I was able to view the books and there is a great selection!

Have a nice weekend!

Yours,

Mrs. Asaro
