April 3 Friday

Good morning!  Well, we made it to Friday!

Please email me by 10:00 AM so I can take and submit attendance.

Let’s begin our day with prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for making rainbows!
Rainbows are so colorful!
We feel so much love and beauty,
When we see them in the sky!
 Thank you for your promise,
To take care of us and protect us.
Whenever we see a rainbow,
We are reminded of your love for us!
Amen.

Please say the Pledge of Allegiance

STATIONS OF THE CROSS (our last one for Lent)
Please watch, listen, and pray with the video from EWTN on youtube.

RAINBOW ART  PROJECT
We have been apart for 21 days.
Noah was on the Ark for 40 days. (If you think about our last day together, we are half way to 40 days.)
Jesus was in the desert for 40 days. (If you think about Ash Wednesday, we are at day 32 of Lent and remember we only have a few more days until Easter Sunday!)

Today I would love everyone to make a rainbow. Mrs. Potter suggested it to all the teachers after reading about it and seeing rainbows in people’s windows, and I thought it was a fantastic idea for us all to be united.

A rainbow reminds us of God’s special promise.

You can make any kind of rainbow. You could:
·       print or copy one from the internet and color it
·       draw your own and color or paint it
·       cut up lots of red, yellow, orange, green, blue and purple paper and glue them in the shape of a rainbow
·       look on the internet for other ideas

You can make it as simple or elaborate as you like. You can include younger or older siblings in this project too. Have fun together.

When your rainbow is finished I would love to see it (send me a picture of your rainbows!) and then hang it up in a front window or on a door for everyone to see!

Extra time: read a book about rainbows on Epic!

First Friday Mass
Please join us for Mass at 10:00. Remember to pray, sing, and listen.

Ms. J's Class on Feelings
Please join Ms. J at 11:30 for her class on feelings. You will need a bingo board and something for counters (like pennies). See you then!

This Sunday is Palm Sunday. Try to watch Mass on TV or the computer this weekend.  They are showing The Mass from St. Joseph’s Church online. Please look at the website www.sjcnj.org for information about this weekend.
https://catholicmom.com/ has some great coloring sheets, because we will not be able to receive palms this weekend, your child can color some for the family.  It is another way we can be united in prayer.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Love,
Mrs. Asaro  J
