April
6 Monday
Good
morning! I hope you had a good weekend!
Happy
Holy Week! It is a very special week to us.
Today
we are going to remember how Jesus arrived in Jerusalem. Everyone cheered,
waved palm branches, and shouted ‘Hosanna!’
We
celebrated Palm Sunday yesterday. Did you get a chance to watch Mass on TV or
the computer? Maybe you read about it in your Bible or colored palm branches to
celebrate the day. Great job!
Let’s
begin our day with prayer:
Dear God,
Help us to remember that day
When all the adults and children
Waved palm branches and cheered
As Jesus entered Jerusalem as King.
Help us remember that
We can praise Him every day!
Amen.
Please
say the Pledge of Allegiance.
Please
email me by 10:00 AM so I can take and submit attendance.

Palm
Sunday Booklet
*please
have students color, trace words, read, and put together the booklet (This does
not all have to be done today. They can work on it today and tomorrow.)
During
his Homily on Sunday, Father Anthony spoke of a chalk walk. Some families are
writing words of encouragement on their sidewalks, so that when people walk by
they read and see pictures that let others know of Jesus’ love for us.
If you
have chalk, this might be something else you and your children can do together.
Pick a saying or word and illustrate it. (Ex. Love, Joy, Hope, Faith, God loves
us, Walk with Jesus…) Remember even though we are apart, we are united in
prayer!
