30 Thursday
Good
morning!! Thank you for all the beautiful signs and posters you made for me
yesterday!! You all made me feel so special!!
I
am the luckiest teacher in the world because you are my
students!!!
Please
email me by 10:00 AM so I can take and submit attendance.
Let’s
begin our day with prayer. Please say a decade of the Rosary. If you have
rosary beads you can use them.
Think
about the joyful events in Mary’s life.
·
When the angel
came and told Mary she was going to have Jesus
·
When Mary went to
visit her cousin Elizabeth
·
When Jesus was
born
·
When Mary and
Joseph brought baby Jesus to the temple (a temple is type of church)
·
When Mary and
Joseph search for 12 year old Jesus and found him in the temple
If
you have any special intentions please follow with the Glory Be to the Father.
(You may want to say a special prayer for the bankers, food store workers, and
bus drivers.)
Today there are several visual lessons:

him.)
‘What
do you notice about these words Mama says to Mzee Odoto: Habari za a subuni?’
(they are words in another language called Kiswahili---they mean ‘what’s new
this morning’) do you know how to say ‘What’s new’ or ‘what’s happening’ in
another language?
‘Why
do you think Mam is worrying about Adika inviting more people?’ (she only has
enough money to buy a certain amount of flour and she may not be able to make
enough food for everyone invited)
‘Why
did Bwana Zaweena (the lady selling flour) put an extra cup of flour onto the
paper?’ (because Adika invited her to come have pancakes)
‘Why
do you think the guests have brought milk, butter, fish, and plantains?’ (these
