Good morning!! We made it to Friday!! Happy Friday!!!

*ask your child what they think the book will be about

Ask to check comprehension:
        What can you use to make a drum?
        Point to the sentence that tells you. (You can use a pot.)

Which nouns (naming words) tell what other instruments you can make out of ordinary objects? Circle the words.

What words are sound effects in the story that tell how each instrument sounds? (ban, puff, ting, ping)

Are the children in the story having fun?
How do you know this?

RELIGION
*watch video called ’My Time With Jesus The Ascension’


Try to watch Mass on Sunday on the computer or TV. Notice the part of the Mass that is The Liturgy of the Word. Listen for the story (The Gospel) which tells about Jesus leaving the Apostles and going to Heaven. Also notice the part when the priest uses the words Jesus used. Remember the Bread and Wine become the Body and blood of Jesus.

Memorial Day Poppy Project
