May
4 Monday
Good
morning! I hope you enjoyed your weekend!! It was so nice to see the sunshine!!
Please
email me by 10:00 AM so I can take and submit attendance.
Let’s
begin our day with prayer. This is Mary’s special month so to honor Her it
would be nice if we pray a decade of the Rosary each day this week. If you have
Rosary Beads you could get them out and use them.
If
you have any special intentions please finish with the Glory Be to the Father.
(You may want to pray for the Pope, Priests, Religious Sisters, and Deacons for
all they do to keep us united in prayer.)
Please
say the Pledge of Allegiance.

RELIGION
Did
you get to watch Mass on TV or the computer? Our priests are working very hard
to keep us united in prayer. Yesterday’s Gospel Reading taught us that Jesus is
the gate for the sheep.
*listen
and watch this video about the Gospel:
*We
talked about how Jesus is the Good Shepherd. When a shepherd goes to get his
sheep from the sheep pen, there were other people’s sheep there too. So the
shepherd would call to his sheep, the sheep would hear his voice and know it
was their shepherd.
(Just
like when you are in a room with lots of other kids playing and other moms are
there too. If your Mom calls you, you recognize and hear her voice even in a
big crowd.)
That’s
the way it is with Jesus. Jesus said ‘I know mine and mine know me.’ So we have
to listen to what Jesus is telling us deep in our hearts. His voice will always
be there and help us to do the right things. If we go to Jesus with our prayers,
it is like the sheep going through the shepherd’s gate.
