May 5 Tuesday

Good morning! I will see you later for Math.

Please email me by 10:00AM so I can take and submit attendance.

Let’s begin our day with prayer. Please continue the second decade of the Rosary. If you have Rosary beads you can use them.

If you have any special intentions please finish with the Glory Be to the Father. (This week is Nurses’ Appreciation Week. You may want to say a prayer for all the nurses and our own Nurse Nancy.)

Please say the Pledge of Allegiance.

                1~s-n-ow
                2~b-oa-t
                3~t-oa-s-t

***Please send me a picture of page 243.***

Page 244         Make New Words
*make new words with ōa or ōw spellings

(When we do this at school they have alphabet tiles or flashcards. You can also make a template on paper or a whiteboard with ōa and ōw and have your child add letters to make words. This time it is difficult because grown and moan rhyme but use different long ō spellings. You can suggest words families like:
                -oat,   -ow,   -oast

If they make a mistake, explain it is tricky and help correct the mistake.)

***Please send me a picture of page 244***
