June 5 Friday

Good morning! Happy Friday!!

We have Mass today at 11:00. (Please sign on early about 10:50ish.) The 8th grade will be wearing their caps and gowns. This is a special Mass for them because they are graduating. We may not be able to see them, but we will be thinking of them and praying for them.

Sunday is the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity.
Let’s begin our day with a prayer to the blessed Trinity.

Glory be to one God,
Three Persons in one.
Glory be to the Father,
Who created me.
Glory be to the Son,
Who died for me.
Glory be to the Spirit
Who gives me His help.
Glory be to the Three Persons
Of the Holy Trinity,
Now and for ever.
Amen.

Here are links to a video and song about the Blessed Trinity.

(When we do this at school they have alphabet tiles or flashcards. You can also make a template on paper or a whiteboard with er , ir , and ur and then have your child add letters to make words.)

(If they make a mistake, explain it is tricky and help correct the mistake.)

Some students will need to draw or put out 6 crayons and then count by 10s)

Try to watch Mass on Sunday. What color will the priest be wearing? It is Ordinary Time but Sunday is a special feast day. Hmmm…what color?

Remember even though we are apart from each other, friends, and family, we are always united in prayer!

Have an AMAZING weekend!! You ALL worked very hard this week!!
